The Best Things to Do in Toronto

Toronto is the capital city of Ontario and the biggest and most populated city in Canada. Toronto has a population reaching well into the millions and the surrounding areas are also loaded with high populations. The population in the region is also very diverse compared to many cities and there is just about every type of nationality represented in Toronto that you could imagine. With such a diverse population there are millions of people who travel from every corner of the world to see Toronto. You have no reason to get bored when in Toronto and no matter what you enjoy there is something that you can partake in while visiting Toronto.

CN Tower

The CN Tower is located in downtown Toronto and at one point was the tallest free standing building in the world but that is no longer true. It still is one of the tallest buildings in the world though and millions of people go up the elevators to the top every single year. You can see the entire city plus some from the top of the CN Tower and you also can enjoy a lunch or dinner while up there. At the top of the elevator you’re invited into a restaurant where you can buy some lunch or dinner and enjoy the magnificent view that is available to you. During the night hours looks the best simply because you can enjoy all the wonderful lights that the downtown Toronto area features throughout the night.

Rogers Center

Whether you’re coming to the Rogers Center for a baseball game or other event there is always something that is taking place at the Rogers Center and it’s one of the most popular buildings in Toronto. Throughout the summer you can catch the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Argonauts playing, one which is a major league baseball team and the other a Canadian football team. This summer is also featuring the first time that a NFL game will be played in Toronto and the people of Toronto can’t wait for the event. I doubt you’d be able to find tickets now except for at the doors come gameday from scalpers, but if you’re in Toronto this summer when the Bills come into town then you would be witnessing an amazing event at the Rogers Center by taking part in the game.

Shopping

While the boys are out at the sporting events the girls will want to spend time I’m sure in the downtown core which features robust shopping experiences for any person. Whether you’re looking for regular department stores or more luxurious NYC type salons you’ll be able to find everything in the shopping district of downtown Toronto. The best thing about this is that its close by to the sporting arenas in Toronto so once the boys are done at the sporting events you can easily meet up and head back to your hotel or to another wonderful attraction that Toronto has to offer.
