Top Things to Do in Vancouver, BC, Canada

Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities on earth. It is often voted one of the best places in the world to live and it’s not difficult to see why. It also hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics.

If you are lucky enough to visit this amazing city be sure not to miss the best things to do in Vancouver:

1. Sightseeing on the Vancouver Trolley

Visit Stanley Park (one of the best parks in the world), Gastown, Canada Place, Yaletown, Granville Island, and all the other essential places on the iconic Vancouver Trolley. You can see everything at your own pace and in a way that is much more convenient than taking transit.

2. Grouse Mountain

With hiking, bear viewing and ziplining in the summer and sleigh rides and skiing in the winter it’s year-round fun for the whole family.

3. Capilano Suspension Bridge

The Capilano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver is 136 metres (446 ft) long and 70 metres (230 ft) above the river. It’s not difficult to see why this is a must for so many visitors – such a spectacular view of the Capilano River Canyon.

4. Seaplane to Victoria

Seaplanes are an amazing way to view not only the city but the small islands between Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Truly wonderful.

5. Whale Watching

Vancouver is a great place to go whale watching. May to September is the best time to see whales from Vancouver, and you’ll also have a good chance of seeing seals and other wildlife.
